My name is Jenna Hastings and I am an integrative psychotherapist specializing in grief, trauma, and life transitions. Collaboration with my clients, using a systems perspective and a holistic, strengths-based approach, is a cornerstone of our work together. I draw on ACT, EMDR, mindfulness, somatic experiencing, and attachment theory alongside other modalities to help foster self-compassion and deeper understanding. Every approach is individualized and tailored to the needs of my clients.
I believe grief is the body's natural response to painful and complex life experiences. It touches nearly every part of being human, showing up in ways we don't always expect. Whatever you're feeling is authentic to you — it's all real, and it's okay. There is no timeline to grief; we carry it throughout our lives, and how we carry it matters.
I earned a BS in Speech from Northwestern University and a Master's in Clinical Mental Health with a focus in grief and bereavement from Webster University. My background includes work in home health and hospice care. Your life journey is unique to you — my own life path hasn't been linear, and I look forward to hearing about yours.
